Plans for buyers
Anyone can read every live listing without signing in. What a plan buys is the right to approach an owner — to sign an NDA, ask for access, and once they agree, open the data room and contact the business directly. How far up the asking-price range you can go is what separates the first three. The fourth is different: Keisho does the searching for you.

Not sure buying is your route?
Keisho, the advisory firm behind Keisho Scout, also helps people enter Japan without buying a business. These are Keisho's own services, quoted and agreed with Keisho directly. They are not plans on this site.
Japan entry strategy: buy or build
For when you know you want Japan, but not yet whether to buy a business or start one.
Research, a buy-or-build comparison, market feasibility, businesses you could acquire, what setting up would take, costs and risks. It ends in a recommended plan for entering Japan.
Keisho quotes after a short call.
Japan market entry and setup
For bringing a business you already run to Japan.
A market entry strategy, local research, finding a location or a partner, planning the setup, introductions, adapting for Japan, and working with lawyers, accountants and other specialists.

Buying a business in Japan
What we would rather you knew before you start.
What you can see without a plan
Every live business can be read without an account — what it does, the prefecture it is in, what it earns and what it is priced at. Signing up is not what opens the rest; a plan is.
Why contact is the thing a plan buys
An owner's time is the scarce thing here, and most of them are selling the work of a lifetime. A plan keeps the people who approach them to those who can actually proceed. It is what stands in for proof of funds.
What the badge tells an owner
An owner deciding on your request sees which plan you are on. It tells them the range you are buying in, and on Private Client that Keisho is acting for you — nothing more. It is not us vouching for you, and we do not present it as though it were.
Nothing is charged when a deal completes
The monthly plan is the whole of what a buyer pays us. No fee falls due on completion, on any plan. Help beyond the platform — due diligence, translation, negotiation, coordinating lawyers and accountants — is arranged separately, priced separately, and always optional.
What you will never receive
The owner's own name, email address and phone number are not disclosed on any plan, at any stage. That is a promise we made to them, not something we are holding back.
