Opening soon

A quieter way to pass your business on.

Keisho Scout is not open yet. We are a succession marketplace for Japanese small businesses — anonymous for the owner, and built with a person at Keisho beside you rather than a form to fill in alone. Leave your email and we will write to you once, when it opens.

Which are you?

One email, when we open. Nothing else, and never to anyone else.

Why owners choose Keisho Scout

Private by default

Your business name, staff, and customers are never shown until you choose to share them with a screened, serious buyer.

Built to be simple

List with a guided, plain-language form. No brokers, no jargon, no 200-page packet required to get started.

Serious buyers only

Every buyer inquiry is identity-verified before it reaches you, so you're never fielding tire-kickers.

For business owners

Selling doesn't have to mean everyone finds out.

Many owners in Japan delay succession because the process feels overwhelming, or because word getting out could unsettle staff and customers before a deal is even close. Keisho Scout was built around that reality: you control what's public, what's shared under NDA, and when.

  • Anonymized listing, with company name and address withheld by default
  • You approve every buyer before any detail is shared
  • Guided valuation help, in plain Japanese or English
  • Filter by prefecture, industry, revenue, and asking price
  • Bilingual listings in Japanese and English
  • Once an owner approves you and you sign the NDA, you contact the business directly. The owner's own name, email and phone are never shared

How it works

The process may differ case by case, but it generally follows these steps.

  1. 01

    Create a listing

Answer a short, guided questionnaire. No financial documents required to get started.

  2. 02

    Stay anonymous

Your listing is public, but your business's identity is not, until you say so.

  3. 03

    Review interested buyers

See verified buyer profiles and choose who to talk to.

  4. 04

    Share details under NDA

Reveal your company name and documents only to buyers you've approved.

  5. 05

    Negotiate & close

Move to due diligence and a final agreement at your own pace.

When it opens, you will hear it from us.
